I have had it with sausage sizzles. Can't anyone think of anything else to do at fundraisers etc. In the last two local papers there were six different events that had sausage sizzles as a draw-card. Can't they think of anything else, be a bit creative? The best they can do in catering for minorities is provide halal sausages, they never provide vegetarian ones.
You will also find them outside the big pet store, the white goods store on a Saturday for the Scouts and in front of the mega hardware store. Sausages are taking over. Can't people buy a hammer without a sausage? Here's your kitty litter, "would you like sausages with that?"
If it's an Aussie tradition, as one advert trumpeted, then what does it say about aussies?
Help me come up with other ideas.....

If I was wanting to be crude I could have said something on the other hand like, "would you like a screw with that sausage?"
